From approximately 1975 to 1983, the Piers at the west end of Christopher Street in New York City were the location of one of the most iconic and notorious gay cruising scenes on the planet. Several photographers did some excellent work there, and some will be featured here today. We start the show with an overlook of a sunbathing area taken by Leonard Fink.
