Muddy water
\Our last World War II German swimmers are in a rectangular hole filled with muddy water.
I have several other shots of these guys that I will post in a future set.
I know I have seen pictures of US servicemen swimming naked. I wish I had those pics of my dad and his friends swimming naked in the hot spring in Iceland. Can you do a series on American military males swimming naked?
I always find these sets interesting and the camaraderie these men had with each other. I am always looking for personal stories on their experiences during times of war. Thanks Jerry.
Thanks again for another enlightening series from dear MMTP. I've said it before, it seems very few of these European men of the pre-World War 1 era had much body hair. I attribute that to very limited social mobility and consequently more homogenous gene pools compared with the United States-Dee Exx

ReplyDeleteI'll try. There aren't nearly as many photos of American servicemen swimming nude as Germans.

ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Pat!

ReplyDeleteAn additional factor is that late 19th and early 20th C. photographic technology didn't pick up body hair well unless it was very profuse.
DeleteQuite true!-Dee Exx
