'56 Ford
The car here is a '56 Ford Fairlane. I know because it was the first brand new car my Dad bought
that I remember. The man is wearing a swim suit that was probably quite risque' for the time.
While I do believe we should be concentrating on the man that is in fact a 1956 Chevy Belair. It is quite similar to the 56 Ford Fairlane. Now about those “panties”/ skimpy swim suit.
I remember the first time I saw a guy wearing a thong on Biloxi beach about 1989,; people almost had wrecks gawking at him. I might add he had the body for it-Dee Exx
I'm behind because I've been under the weather. But this delightful image gave me a jolt. I would love to appreciate the car, but I can't stop looking at his swim suit. Good work, Jerry.
That is a 1956 Chevy.
ReplyDeleteOops! They look a look a bit similar. The grille is the giveaway.
DeleteThe square turn signal. 55, 56, 57, ONLY 56 had it...
DeleteYeah, before I even read your comment I was thinking to myself that swim suit was quite small for that time period in America.
ReplyDeleteMust have drawn a lot of looks.

Daring.
DeleteLove the car, and love the guy who was daring enough to wear a swim suit for all to enjoy which means us! He wears it well.
ReplyDeleteDaring and self confident!

ReplyDeleteBiloxi. Now that takes me way, way back.
