Fern path
I had this picture for years before I knew it was from Bruce Weber's book, Bear Pond.
I like the contrast between the lacy ferns and the rugged young model's body.
Also like the contrast between the man and nature. Thanks so much for sharing these wonderful photos. Takes me back to camping trips and camp and dreams of them being more like these photos.
A friend has this book and it is quite beautiful though it not of my aesthetic and I am an admirer of Weber. Check out Bear Hill by Venfield 8 which is an homage using younger bear types. Rather difficult to find now days and I am still looking for a mint copy.
They are to recent, I did see a physical copy that was in deplorable condition extreme water damage but was really impressed by the style and of course the men. His website is interesting and he does some beautiful work.

DeleteSurprised no one has named the model- it's Eric Nies, from season 1 (1992) of MTV's The Real World. It was taken a few years before that show aired.
