As a kid in West Texas, I looked forward to Saturday for several reasons. Of course there was the day off from school, plus I got to go to town for a matinee movie. Then in the late afternoon, pro wrestling came on the TV. The big hairy men left a mark on my nascent little homosexual self. Today we look at hairy pro wrestlers from the late 1950s and 60s, starting with Don Curtis. Mr. Curtis appeared in a different photo in a previous series, and his tag team partner shows up later today.
Sounds like good times on Saturday. It is wild how watching wrestling can leave such an impression on us. Looking forward to this series. Really nice start!

DeleteThose were the days! It was guys like these that set the stage for me and I am sure many others as I watched them on a Saturday. I like them big and hairy, nothings changed! Lol.
