Editorial

Enlarge this if you can and read the editorial at right.  It describes the purpose of the magazine as to reveal and improve the plight of the male nudist who was not given the same attention as females and kept out of many nudist resorts.  (The last bit was true.)  The real purpose, however, was to dodge repressive obscenity laws following the legalization of full frontal male nudist photos.

  1. How long was Mr. Sun published? I like the idea of it's being a subversive publication promoting pride in having a peter and sack. I have a bad feeling, though, that the US is headed back to the bad old days. If the Orange Turd wins...we are in for tough times, brothers.

    1. The time span of the Wyngate and Bevins publications (there were at least half a dozen in total) was approximately 1965-70. No single title, however, covered that whole length. I also worry about keeping our freedom.

  2. A worthwhile read. Thanks for recommending we enlarge and read it. Strangely the Same thing that happened at nudist clubs would often happen at swingers clubs and some other types of clubs. Couples welcome, single women welcome but single men frowned upon or outright refused entry. (Or charged more at some clubs).
Anyway, I enjoyed the old nudist magazines and some nudist places I visited.

    1. I had almost forgotten about the clubs. I don't know if these places were afraind of the single women being ganged up on or of the men going gay. Probably both.
