Val Memecek
How I've managed not to post this amazing photo of Val Memecek in ten years
of blogging is beyone me. Better late than never, I always say.
Excellent use of lighting by Juleff, enhances the physique of Val Memecek. Another one of Juleff’s fine men of Michigan and the Mid-West, well presented by you….:) (Now if you could only get that picture of Wendell Meyer)
Aside from the first photo in the series and this one, the other photos bother me a bit, because they don't look natural at all! Why do all the models suck in their stomachs like that, it's awful? (well, that's my opinion.)
I think they wanted to appear more "wasp waisted," something that was seen favorably in competitive bodybuilding at the time. I'm not a big fan, either.
Thanks for looking and for all you post here. If you're in need of a theme at some point, I really like seeing pairs of pictures, with and without clothes.
I have a similar pose of the same model - body facing other direction and no background shadow. Obviously the same photo shoot judging by the curtain and lighting so its obviously Val. On the verso is printed Norman Valentine. I can't fine Valentine anywhere on the web. Do you have any information or is it possible Val Memecek used both names.

I don't seem to have that one.

DeleteSuch a gorgeous picture! I was searching online for a picture of him clothed and didn't have any luck. Do you happen to have any??
ReplyDeleteSorry, I have exactly four photos of him, all frontal nudes of various poses.

DeleteYou're welcome, and I like your suggestion for a theme!

ReplyDeleteI haven't seen that name used with this model. I have however seen it spelled Nemecek.
