Our last 1900 Olympian is Charles Gustave Winckler, another Dane who was on the gold medal winning Swedish-Danish combined tug of war team As you can see above, he also excelled at several field events that included discus and shot put. His nude photos below show some fine beef.
It's amazing that these males were so uninhibited! Just goes to show you we men were not always ashamed of our gear. I wonder what the photographer told these guys to get them to strip. Big Dude

DeleteVery nice post. I really like the fact that there were photographers, who for various reasons, took photos of naked men. I enjoyed seeing these men who were not professional models. They all had nice pubic hair, and penises that were quite natural.

ReplyDeleteRicher knew how to get men to bare all, mostly through reputation as an artist.
The recording of body types was taken seriously back then, though men can exhibit traits from all 3 body types.
Despite what was a reputable scientific pursuit at the time, some aesthetic qualities come through as well.
