Jack Lalanne
Here we have Jack Lalanne in 1957 pulling a Cadillac and a pair of females.
Une deluxe démonstration de force avec belles dames et des Cadillac. The force of strength and will never left Lalanne. Amusant, when I visited America for the first time I remember his exercise show on the hôtel télévision :)
His TV show was remarkably successful, partly because he often featured exercises for ladies while providing eye candy. It was a good business model that went on for decades.
He was always a good looking guy, I remember him best when he was older on his show. He knew how to market himself as a brand long before anyone else did.
Jack is pulling a 1954 Cadillac de Ville convertible. A 1953 Cadillac is in the background, the only year Cadillac used flat disc hubs instead of the sombrero hubs in those years. Very familiar with the 1954 Cadillac as one of my uncles who lived in Florida had a 1954 Eldorado, the same as the deVille with the addition of gold-tone emblems, swaths of stainless steel trim on the lower quarter panels and wire wheels. Rex in DC
I had an uncle with a mid-50s Cadillac, and everyone wanted tor ride with him on extended family outings. Ahd it wasn't because it was a stylish Caddy. It was the only car in the family with air conditioning.
I only knew of Jack when he was an elderly man, albeit in great shape. Here at age 43, he’s absolutely stunningly gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI can remember his TV show, and he always looked good, but my nascent little gay self wasn't attracted to his type.

DeleteLol- The days when car air conditioning was a luxury, and you would have to buy a luxury car to get it. Now it’s in every car.
