While there's definitely some sort of party going on here, I strongly suspect that this was the set of a late 1960's porn film. I mean, really, wall to wall beds?
1970s. 1960s was more "exploitation" movies, which had a lot of nudity, sex and violence, but had a real plot (albeit not much more than a porno), and sex (which was usually though not always a major element of these movies) was typically simulated.
Exploitation movies were typically more violent as well.
