Day of the Derriere Double Feature: Part Two, Art by William Etty


William Etty was an early 19th Century English painter who scandalized the British art world by painting nudes, particularly anatomically accurate male nudes.  This being a Day of the Derriere, I will feature his less controversial rear views for our Friday night art lesson, 
but I will post some frontal material in the future.

    Thanks for the superb William Etty paintings. One of my favourite painters of the male nude...I work as a life model...always so inspiring. Looking forward to more..
