Dave Martin was known for photographing college athletes from the Bay Area and beyond. Some of the Martin photos in my collection even have Dave's notes as to the models' college, favorite sports, and even some height and weight figures. Jarvis Watson, shown here,
had no notes, but I'm guessing his sport might have been football.
He was a senior at Stanford in 1955 and you're right, he played football, on the varsity team.
