Pathe' called this 1939 clip "With the Army Over There" and it features bucket baths. 

It had to be early in the year during the "phony war" before the Germans conquered Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and France in six weeks.  Most of the Brits escaped via Dunkirk.
