Horvath managed to look both relaxed and regal in this seated shot.  I was hoping that the unique chair might have been a clue as to who took these beautiful photographs, but a review of my Al Urban, Lon of New York, Edwin Townsend, and Earl Forbes files came up empty for the chair.

  1. Empire revival style chair. Revival style furniture and furnishings were popular from 1918 thru the mid 1920's. Between Art Nouveau (1890's to 1914) and Art Deco (named after the Exposition des Arts Decoratifs et Industriels in Paris, France 1925 and lasting until the early 1940's.) - RJ in the IE.
