Bob Mizer of AMG and Physique Pictorial gave Tom of Finland his first break in American media, but there isn't a lot of evidence that they influenced each other. They did, however, have some similar interests, as shown in this Navy themed derriere photo of John Tristram by AMG.

John Tristram died in 1985 when he was only 50 yrs old. Does anyone know what took this beautiful young man from our midst?

ReplyDeleteHe had once taught French language and literature at Los Angeles City College
in the 70's.
