Robert Gebhardt, better knows as Gebbe, was the guy who encouraged Lon of New York to go full on into the male nude photo business.  For such an influential figure and good photographer, very little of his nude work is still around.  There is more non-nude work, but not really much of that. This photo features Vahe Kartalian, aka Buck Kartakian, from 1954, relatively late in Gebbe's career.
