They Don't Call 'Em Nudist Camps for Nothing

Today we hit the nudist camps for some fun in the great outdoors.
With that fringed tent opening, you might think this picture was made at on of those fancy "glamping" trips, but I found it on a French nudist website.  The French do have style.

  1. This guy, and his tent might finally get me to go camping.

  2. I guess the tent design was one of those from Europe's fascination with Indians: Fringe where fringe doesn't belong. Usually fringe was found on plains Indian shirts, vests, ponchos, leggings, moccasins, caps, and mittens; basically it was used as a sort of seam. But it's common for hobbyists to erroneously add it to belts and loincloths. Having it on a tent would follow that.

    1. Interesting. I have seen photos of large groups of 20th C. Germans in full tribal dress.
