Everyone knows “The Scream” by Norwegian expressionist painter Edvard Munch (1863-1944). We can relate to it today, in these days of COVID-19, just as well as people could when it was painted in 1893.
Editor's Note: I had been pondering how to do an art day double feature based on Edvard Munch, and Larry K. solved my problem by offering us a single 11 piece guest series. Thanks, Larry!

Indeeed , thaks Larry , it is worth of it .

ReplyDeleteIt does have quite a history, however depressing.
DeleteThe Scream, is widely believed by some scientists and art historians to have been inspired by the atmospheric effects of the massive 1883 Krakatoa volcanic eruption.
DeleteI didn't know that. Thanks.
