Navy Day, Part 1

Last Friday we saw some physique studio sailors followed by my homage to Bluto.
This week, we start with some real navy men followed by more Bluto . . . and Popeye.
These early 20th C. U.S. Navy men are getting a fire hose shower on deck.

I wonder what percentage of sailors who sometimes stay for weeks at sea succumb to homosexuality. Even if once on land, they became straightforward straight again. Many masturbated I suppose, but here too, given the cramped nature of the collective cabins, finding privacy on a boat should not be easy!

    1. A retired Navy officer once told me, "If homosexuality hadn't already been around before men went on long sea voyages, they would have quickly had to invent it on the spot."

    2. Things have changed vastly since same-sex relationships are now fully legal and lawful in the British military forces. From my friends in the service, gay activity was always tolerated if discreet. For the officer class in the Navy, that meant no contact midshipmen. But then, as Oscar Wilde once said of his friend, the influential and gay Robert Ross, "His grandfather was Prime Minister of Upper Canada. Or was it Lower Canada? The British take their class system wherever they go."
