Today we look at photography and sculpture in German in the first half of the
20th Century. We start with five photographs kindly sent to me by Larry K., whose
interesting blog can be found at: https://unashamedmale.blogspot.com/ . This 1910
photo is Der Eigene-Young man lying in a meadow by Adolf Brand.
Disclosure: Contrast had been adjusted for clarity.
As always, I'm glad you could use the photos, Jerry, and thanks for the link to my blog.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful
ReplyDeleteStunning shot of a smiling young man. His attractiveness more tied to his relaxed and accepting pose than his physical beauty - although he possesses that also. The picture was taken a few years before WWI - I wonder how the war affected him and his family.
ReplyDeleteVery few escaped unscathed in one way or another.
