Germany in the first half of the 20th Century

Today we look at photography and sculpture in German in the first half of the 
20th Century.  We start with five photographs kindly sent to me by Larry K., whose

photo is Der Eigene-Young man lying in a meadow by Adolf Brand.

  2. Stunning shot of a smiling young man. His attractiveness more tied to his relaxed and accepting pose than his physical beauty - although he possesses that also. The picture was taken a few years before WWI - I wonder how the war affected him and his family.
