Tummy rub

One of my college biology professors once commented offhand that most male mammals
like to  have their bellies rubbed.  I wonder if that was some sort of oblique hint.

  1. My favourite from this series. Two incredibly handsome guys and a beautiful photo. They look really comfortable with each other and so good together. Do you know who took this picture and who the models are? My first thought was that the guy on the left is Christian William 'Bill' Miller who you've featured before as photographed by George Platt Lynes. However, I think this is more recent than Lynes work. I'd love to see more of both guys.

    1. Hi, Peter. Looks late 1960's to me, and I have no info on the picture. It probably came from the avalanche of new gay publications that hit after U.S. courts scaled back the obscenity laws.

  2. Nice composition...sexual yet...somehow, just affectionate at the same time.

  3. I thought this pic looked familiar - I have a very old magazine called " the films of Pat Rocco" ' this picture is on page 25 also in black and white, but page 26 and 27 are full page color shots - the brunet is John Helm and the blond is Boby Nelson (yes that's the way it's spelled in the mag) these are blowups from 16mm frames from a 1968 movie called "Autumn Nocturne" which apparently had a commercial release as there are reviews by the Advocate, John Mahoney in the Hollywood Reporter and "Murf" in Variety - Rocco did a number of films back them which you can find by google "Pat Rocco films" - I surmise these were of the same type as the Jaguar films and some others which were striving for a good storyline and photography values plus the sex in an attempt to have gay porn go more mainstream which straight porn had done with linda Lovelace and Marilyn Chambers and others - there's a whole fascinating history about that time when Victorian values were finally breaking down - it never ceases to amaze me what is out there in "googleland"
