Unknown
Denny Denfield was known to have collaborated with several other of the great physique
photographers of his time. That makes me wonder if the borrowed the wagon wheel
(or the idea for it) from Bruce of LA. The model is unknown, to me at least.
Definitely a great pose. Something that might be seen in "heroic male worker" art, not, as here made flesh. Our model is nicely proportionate to the size of the wheel. His skilful pose, especially with the placement of his right hand on the spoke cleverly implies movement, or, perhaps arresting it. The left foot acting as a break. Perhaps I'm seeing to much into it...
Great pose, great male...this series is a gem, Jerry!
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed it!

ReplyDeleteNo, not too much. It succeeds on all those levels.
