When Englishman Eadweard Muybridge did his motion studies at the University of Pennsylvania in the 1880s, it was only natural that he would turn the student athletes as models. As an added bonus, the sports they pursued made good thematic matter. Today we will look at just a few of the many baseball themed sequences Muybridge did.
