This surly looking character from 1962 wearing a crucifix is Don Edgar, a young man described by photographer Chuck Renslow of Kris as "a hustler who was hard to get to pose."

He really looks nasty. Do you think he might have been going for a tough guy look, and didn't make it?
ReplyDeleteWell, he was a hustler, and living on the streets can do that to you. Something tells me he came by that look naturally . . . or at least didn't have to act much to do it.
