Jim Carson looks the teeniest bit odd throwing a football with his foot propped on a cut off column. I'm guessing that he was a college football player, but Dave Martin didn't leave notes on him.
JIM CARSON was a FootBall Player at San Francisco State University in 1967 when he posed Nude holding a FootBall for Dave Martin in his San Francisco Studio. Martin used the FootBall as a prop in many of Jim's photos.
This is a weird pose, but the model is damned handsome. His tan line shows clearly at his waist, but fades on his thigh. Cool!
