Don Whitman's excellent reputation brought a number of championship level bodybuilders to his door seeking quality publicity photos. Larry Scott was was born in Idaho, but came to prominence in the early1960s in California. Scott considered his shoulders a weak point in his physique and is said to have been very pleased with Mr. Whitman's ability to pose him so they were at their best.
