Outdoors

Although today's series is not arranged in chronological order, one can actually date some of Robert Rex's work by the number of tattoos he had.  I think he must have used some of his modeling pay to acquire more of them, because he had many fewer earlier on.  And I'm not going to be bashful about those silly tattoos over his nipples.  They don't help his looks at all in my opinion.

  1. Gotta agree with you on those tats over his nipples. Surprised to see a strap here. Milo seems to have preferred his males naked...and,often, erect.

  2. I also agree that the above-nipple tats look silly, sort of the opposite of the goal of most tats of his generation: the Tough Guy, I don’t think I’ve ever seen that done before. Do you know what the words are.

    1. I can't read these, even when expanded, but I've seen others that say hot-cold, sweet-sour, and the names of various liquors.

    2. I found another picture online that I could enlarge clearly. One side is "Hamm's" and the other is "Schlitz"--both popular beers, at least in the Midwest back then. That does not make the tats any better...

  3. What? You don't think the tattoos help to make "eyebrows" over the "nipple-eyes?" You're not seeing the "big picture!" Wink-Wink!

  4. Furthermore... it is a little awkward having a nose with only one nostril. But with that mouth, I do like the tongue-in-cheek...

  5. In a photo of ROBERT REX wrestling CHARLES BUTLER at AMG in 1961, Bob Mizer informed us that ROBERT had been a Drag Queen in a dime-a-dance Joint in New Orleans.
Mizer's sex codes indicated that ROBERT was Greek Passive with Men and he did not claim to like Women. He was an expensive hustler who was a ball in bed and Bob Mizer felt he was mentally unstable. I will send you the photo.
