1930s
The students' clothing makes me think this art class was in the 1930s.
"Rowan" was the only note on the file. Photographer?
I agree about the date from the fashions of that time. The photograph also plays with light in an interesting way. As most posing straps were string affairs, I think the model must be wearing a dance belt for the occasion.
Cela ma rappelle l'epoque ou je posais nue pour de etudients en art. Parfois entierement nue d'autres fois devant orter un jockstrap, une ceinture de danse ou braguette, tout depend de groupe pour lequel je posais. Classes serieuses entierement nus (academie d'beau arts), classes conservatrices une certaine forme de couveture. (a un moment donne religieuses/nuns!).Image est revaissante, la dame de droite semble enchantee par le modele. J'ai moi-meme vecu cela apres d'etudiants en art masculins et feminins.
Mein Freund, danke fur deine Geschichte als Kunstmodell, nackt nicht weniger! Ich wunste, ich ware in einem der Kunstkurse gewesen, um dich in all deiner Pracht zu sehen.
