Live Installation
Above is an artist prepping his model for one of those live installation pieces from the 1970s
where the model was the art. Below, he seems to be checking out the finished work.
I was hoping to get to chat with the model. But, he was going off on his break. I've modelled in an art gallery as part of a life drawing demonstration. Again, the public sort of ignored me...

DeleteLast year's Royal Academy summer show featured a live nude model. A work by Roger Hiorns. So odd the way that people ignored that he was nude.
ReplyDeleteI can sort of understand that. They probably didn't want others to think they were lewdly gawking, which is exactly what everyone wanted to do.
