Several accounts of David Hurles' career say that he was associated with Bob Mizer for a time, so perhaps he was inspired by the AMG shower to do this shot of a guy called Spider. Mr. Mizer's remarks in the pages of Physique Pictorial about models Barry Hoffman, Roy Bergen, and Jerry Suter all having robbed, burglarized and/or beaten Mr. Hurles indicate that the two knew each other well.
Spider was another AMG model who matriculated at OR. His name at AMG was Spider Mann. Cute.
