Alan Green by WPG

Finishing the Arboreal Art series with something that truly fits the title.  This is
Alan Green as photographed by Don Whitman of Western Photography Guild.
If anyone has a color version of this one, I really need to have it.

  1. Looks like it was shot on the Ponderosa... (maybe he was Little Joe's best buddy... ha.

    1. Well, we can say it was shot in a Ponderosa, as in Ponderosa pine.

  2. I've just checked and I was right to remember I do have a colour study of Alan Green by Don Whitman but it is unfortunately not this image. My goodness, Whitman had talent. You don't see something by him often, but when you do...

    1. Mr. Whitman's niece and nephew have been bringing his best work back into the light, so to speak, by marketing them on line. They have been making prints using the original negatives and developing techniques. I didn't know there was a market for that, but according to the Bob Mizer Foundation, they are selling.
