At the rail
Our last Rod Crowther photos is one of four that I have of this unknown model
by a rail at what appears to be some sort of overlook. I'd love to know the location.
It doesn't seem that Mr. Crowther was a typical physique photographer, judging from the males in this set of photos. I don't mean this as a criticism, mind you. It's nice to see "regular" men in artistic poses.
I agree. When Mr. Crowther started, most other photographers were still using a lot of bodybuilder types as models. He went with guys who were good looking and nicely built without being gym bunnies.
