These two men were photographed during the intake process at what is now known as the Diagnostic Unit. Danny Lyon described them as Mexican gang members from Corpus Christi. Somehow, it amazes me how little the Latino gang culture has changed since 1968. From what I've been able to find out, the shaved heads were considered part of their trademark look before prison.
