I bet you weren't expecting this one. What we have here is a Welsh miner lovingly washing
a pony's feet. These little guys pulled loads through the tunnels and are credited with reducing
child labor in the mines. Contrary to expectation, the ponies were generally treated well with
clean stables, plentiful fresh fodder and water, regular baths, and vet care when needed.
