Blackface
Stop and think for a moment about how much coal dust this man
must have inhaled while getting his face blackened like that.
Both of my grandfather's died of black lung disease. And when my Dad's father passed, The Company threw my grandmother and her ten kids out of their company housing. So I have no respect for Corporate America.
It's really sad to hear that and know that some simple precautions could have prevented the disease. The treatment of your grandmother was scandalous, but common.
