Leads and Leftovers from Larry

It's time for a military series, and all of today's photos were either contributed by Larry K or found though leads and links he provided me.  We start with some First World War American inductees getting showered.  There's a link to Larry's blog in the last panel of today's series.

  1. My impression is that the installation of showers in American homes really took off after WW I since many men had used showers in the military and/or college and liked the experience and the convenience-Dee Exx

    1. They didn't become common in homes until the late 1940s, so maybe it was WWII instead. And yes, several histories of indoor plumbing in America have been written.
