Gene Davis
We get treated to a pleasant smile from Gene Davis.
Yes, I agree with everyone about that smile. Really, a man has reason to smile if he is posing naked for the pleasure of us who so enjoy seeing a naked man. In fairness, I must say that some of us have difficulty making a smile when photographed, even when we can smile at most other times. I have even tried smiling in the mirror, and end up with a big silly grin, so I can't be harsh with others.
Interesting fact: Until well into the 20th Century, getting a photo made was a serious occasion, and people rarely smiled when photographed. Things seem to have really changed after World War I, although it sort of started with the Brownie home camera a couple decades earlier.
That smile makes this a gem, IMHO.
ReplyDeleteYes, and it doesn't seem forced, either.
