Military Medicals
Today's theme is military medical exams, and we start with what looks like a group
of World War II era U.S. Navy recruits. Did they make movies of scenes like this?
The reason I ask is that the image quality looks like a frame grab from one.
The documentary series Victory At Sea showed a bunch a naked recruits running up some stairs. All crowded. Mmm. . . All butts. When I was in the Navy, I saw training films that featured a lot of nudity. So, the above is no surprise.
I saw a 1980s UK Army training film which taught new recruits how to wash their privates. Now we might think that anyone would know that by the time they were old enough to join the army, but the sergeant doing the demonstration sarcastically remarked that he knew some of the recruits needed help "in that area." The whole thing was filled with double entendres, and this was not some joke or low grade porn video. It was a real training film.

DeleteThat British training film has been on the Internet, but maybe 20 years ago.
DeleteSo I'm not the only one who remembers that one. Thanks, Jim!
