Galerie Au Bonheur du Jour of Paris has been compared by some observers as equal to or even better than some museums in terms of their gay focused photo shows. This picture of Rick Wayne by Jean Ferrero makes me think they were right. I'll post more material from this source in the future.
Jean Ferrero did an entire series of Rick Wayne in the open air in the Midi of the South of France. Of course, this study need not necessarily have been shot in Paris. The font used is very much of its period in France, which was by this time veering away from the utilitarian of art deco.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how long Galerie Au Bonheur du Jour has been using that font on their watermark, but it is still in use today.
