This is a screenshot for which I made no notes.  Foolish, that, as I really like the photo.
The location makes me think on an old style walkup New York apartment.

  1. I like it too. It has a 'non-staged' quality to it. The cluttered room looks just 'normal'.

    1. He fits in well with the basic apartment details. Just a light oiling to imply a hot day? Any ideas regarding those vintage muscle photos on the wall?

    2. Your thought on the oil has merit, and yes, I did notice the photos. They appear to be by Lon of New York, reinforcing my opinion about the location.

    3. It was called "Nude Male in Hells Kitchen Kitchen" circa 1956. Hell's Kitchen, also known as Clinton, is a neighborhood on the West Side of Midtown Manhattan in New York City. It is considered to be bordered by 34th Street (or 41st Street) to the south, 59th Street to the north, Eighth Avenue to the east, and the Hudson River to the west. The name comes from the tale of "Dutch Fred the Cop", a veteran policeman, who with his rookie partner, was watching a small riot on West 39th Street near Tenth Avenue. The rookie is supposed to have said, "This place is hell itself", to which Fred replied, "Hell's a mild climate. This is Hell's Kitchen."

  2. I like this "random beef" series, especially this example of random beefcake. Good work, of course.
