Where I went to college, the fraternity boys were the among the very few straight-laced, conservative types. That's why I found this photo of a fraternity house party so surprising until I read on and discovered that this was at an art school. I didn't even know they had frat houses at art schools.
This photograph was taken at Cal Arts (California Institute of the Arts) in the early 70s. The photographer was Michael Jang. There were no frat houses at Cal Arts.

DeleteI was a student there at that time - that's how I know there were no frat houses. If I was at that party, there is no way I would have remembered it - if you catch my meaning.
