Here we see a nude construction crew at the Gay Community Center which Pat Rocco helped found. The center was pioneering institution which went beyond providing a safe place for gays to socialize and helped with job, housing, and medical referrals. Realizing the economic power of gays, the Center also encouraged patronizing gay owned and gay friendly businesses.
