I've often said that I'm one of those persons who often free associates his way through life, so today I'm kicking off a week where each series segues some way into the next. We'll start by following up yesterday's quintessentially 20th C. hippie set by looking at Twentieth Century art by decades from the 1900s to 1990. Our first example is a nude self portrait by Richard Gerstl from 1908.
Really like this piece. Draws me in. Not sure why. Like the style and the model. So glad you included this one.
