Kaiser Bill in Italy
This model appears to have had a single notable photo session with von Gloeden.
His Kaiser Bill mustache makes me think he may have been a visiting
German, although other nationalities certainly wore those, too.
He's gorgeous. Did models regularly "excite" themselves? I posited this to my friend with the Thomas-LaLanne photos, and he thinks so, but I like to think that they "excited" ea. other! 🥰🔥🔥
An interesting point. From my own experiences. There is a tendency to "expand" a bit when one first strips off. In general, this then, over time, stabilises in response to air temperature. Most men do constantly change in size. Uncut models often roll back to give a better hang.

The 1967 whistling song “I was Kaiser Bill’s Batman” comes to mind. The song refers to the Kaiser’s batman or cleaner, a position that enabled the batman to evade combat duty. Perhaps this German gentlemen was visiting von Gloeden to evade military service or had done his duties and needed a vacation….:)

ReplyDeleteI've read reports by several observers who say there are a number of men who get excited the moment they step in front of a camera naked.
