Ten Twos by Ten

Today I'm posting ten photos of pairs of men by ten different photographers.  My OCD was really acting up as I put this together, so I put them in alphabetical order by photographer.  We start with by far the most casual shot of the set, Ken Shreves and Jim Arvey by AMG's Bob Mizer.

Fully nude duos by Arax Studio of Paris are quite rare, so I had to use this shot of Charles Klejniak of Belgium and Hubert Thomas of England from a London bodybuilding competition in 1954.

Bruce of Los Angeles

These two unknowns were photographed on one of Bruce of LA's trips to the desert.

I hope someone can ID them because I'd really like to have more of their work.

 

Can-Art

Frank Borck of Toronto based Can-Art Studio took this picture of Vern Houston and John Ingle, 

aka John Engelhardt.  Vern seems a little shy and is trying to cover up the package.

 

Kris Studio

Larry Williams and John Giller posed for a photo set by Kris Studio called 

The Plumber Comes.  Photographer Chuck Renslow described them both 

as expensive street hustlers who were a royal pain to work with.

Apparently, they didn't like each other.  Competitors?

 

Lon of New York

These two unknown models seem to have had a bit of fun

while posing for the talented Lon of New York.

 

Al Urban

Here we see Fred Degroot (standing) and an unknown in an Al Urban photo.

I have to say the sweeping posing creates some actual drama.

This Vulcan picture of Frank Ward and Jack Bowen appeared in Grecian Guild magazine.

Underwear Day, Part 1 - Civilians

Bob B. from Tucson requested an underwear day, so I came up with a two parter, first civilians, then military.  We start with two guys in a bed, one of whom has his package front and center.

 

1956

In January of 1956 these two friendly fellows seem to have shared a single bed.

 

Crossed thighs

These guys have their thighs crossed.  

They may get more entwined later.

 

Sleeping beauty

Here we have a beefy sleeper.

 

Old Crow

These two are sharing a bottle of Old Crow on the bedroom floor.

Hopefully they won't be too drunk to crawl into bed.
