This is another contribution from Mr. Scumbeast, and he wasn't sure if the man
was swimming in the ocean or a very large lake. Oh, how I miss my friend.
I like the casual, comfortable atmosphere. The man seems to be completely at ease with being naked. Do you think he was not awate that he was being photographed?
Men back then were more comfortable being naked, at least in an all-male setting. But I can't imagine that many men were so nonchalant about being photographed naked.
I think what Anonymous says is largely true, but it's surprising how many men in those setting actually look like they enjoy being photographed or even show off for the camera. I even do an occasional series called "there's always one guy."

ReplyDeleteIt's hard to know, but the photo looks like a snapshot made with a small home camera, so it could easily be possible.
