Although unattributed, I get a Kris Studio vibe from this photo of Walt Needham. Chuck Renslow did several similar mostly undressed photos featuring shoes, with one of a soldier passing through Chicago being particularly memorable. Gotta love those Argyll socks! Mr. Needham was described throughout his life as shy, and a teeny bit of that comes through in this picture.
Argyll socks, I'm surprised they have not made a comeback. Of course, the only persons I remember wearing them were my grandads. Needham looks good in anything......:)
