Yet another set
You've seen this model here before, but this is a "new" shot of him on steps.
This is my favourite shot in this series. The male is handsome, muscular, and hung nicely. The lighting is unique. All in all, this is a keeper. Thanks, Jerry.
When I first discovered Muybridge's photos of naked men I was interested immediately. Seeing old photos of naked men with their penises quite visible was WONDERFUL. This fellow going up the stairs is especially appealing because it appears that he has at least a partial erection. Mr. Muybridge may not have had even the slightest idea that some fellow would look at those photos with 'hungry eyes'! I think that he gave us a nice gift from the 19th century.
It is indeed a nice gift for us moderns, but more importantly, Muybridge was a groundbreaker when it came to the science of motion and photography. He laid the foundation for movies, TV, and computer graphics.

ReplyDeleteNude ascending a staircase. He appears to be stimulated by this action.
ReplyDeletePossibly. It could be just the way the motion was caught by the camera, though.
DeleteThat certainly is a gluteus maximus!
ReplyDeleteYes, quite so.

DeleteSuperb model and capture. A truly magnificent physique. I'd go with, and I suspect Muybridge did too, he just hangs like that.
ReplyDeleteMy opinion as well.
