Back Cover
Kip Behar's last appearance in the 1957 edition of The Male figure was on the back cover.
My thanks once again to Tim T. for donating the magazine.
Kip made an uncredited appearance (along with John Weidemann and Ed Fury) in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes at age 16. His was the most fleeting spot of the three, but it is documented on his IMDb page. Later, he appeared in Beauty and the Body, playing (you guessed it) the Body. One possibly apocryphal account I read was that he was all looks and of very, very limited acting ability.
What a treat this was to see! Kip was the perfect boy next door, he would have been at home in all those surf and sand movies of the day.

DeleteNot wishing to sound rude, but he had two things over Arnold. Lol.
DeleteNot rude at all.
DeleteOh, that we had magazines like this now. You can just how influential such images were on young men of the time.
ReplyDeleteNow we have Tik-Tok rubbish.
